Any identifiable data such as faces or vehicle registration plates captured incidentally during drone operations will be anonymised in compliance with GDPR.

• To deliver inspection, drone, and reporting services to clients.
• To communicate regarding ongoing or future projects.
• To meet operational, legal, and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) record-keeping obligations.

Personal and project data are securely stored on Google Drive and encrypted external hard drives. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. Password protection and device encryption are used to safeguard stored data. Inspection data and project files are retained for a minimum of three years, after which they may be deleted or anonymised unless required for ongoing legal or contractual reasons.

 

 5. Data Sharing and Transfers

 

We do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law or explicitly agreed with the client. Data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers such as Google (Google Drive), DJI software (including DJI Terra), and client-provided cloud platforms for the purpose of processing or storing inspection data. Some of these cloud services may store or process data outside the UK. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate data protection safeguards are in place.

 

6. Cookies and Website Analytics

 

Our website, hosted on Squarespace, uses analytical cookies to gather anonymous data on visitor behaviour and website performance. Cookies do not identify individuals and can be disabled through browser settings. The website contact form collects name, email address, phone number, and message content for communication purposes only.

 

7. Data Security

 

We employ multiple layers of security to protect all personal data, including two-factor authentication (2FA), password-protected accounts, antivirus protection, device encryption, and restricted data access. We review our data security measures regularly to ensure continued compliance and protection against unauthorised access.

 

8. Individual Rights

 

Individuals have the right to request access to their personal data, request corrections or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and request data portability. All requests will be reviewed and responded to within 30 days in accordance with GDPR requirements.
